Welcome

I am an Assistant Professor at Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg, FL. I was previously a Stanton Nuclear Security Fellow at the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University. I completed my PhD in Political Science from Northwestern University in 2018. My research has been published in the European Journal of International Relations, International Affairs, and the Nonproliferation Review and my commentary has appeared in War on the Rocks, Washington Post, and E-International Relations.

I am originally from Pakistan and grew up in and around Chicago. I completed my M.A. from the Committee on International Relations at the University of Chicago and my B.A. from North Central College in Naperville, IL.
